Islands is a shelving system inspired by primitive wooden structures, translated in a minimal and contemporary manner. 

Separated shelves, in various proportions and finishes, enable the presentation of the objects in a new and interesting way. The user can decide whether to display several objects in a visual continuity or to highlight a single object on a separate platform.
A removable round plate can be used as an additional display surface for everyday objects or function as a tray. 

The shelves are made of natural white oak and black-stained oak in various sizes.

The color and the texture of the surfaces make a serene yet powerful background for the displayed objects.

The structure can be assembled out of different modular units and dividing tubes of various lengths.
