This hand-woven wool rug is a graphic expression of the different layers of soil that are exposed during excavations; each one is a little different, sometimes containing rocks, gems, or even a memory of another lifetime.
It’s constructed of several stripes in different lengths, densities, and weaving techniques, creating a unique tactile experience.
