modular shelving system with a modest, refined design. its stretchers twist is not only an aesthetic design detail but a structural element and a base for the simple assembly of the main structure without the use of screws or tools. 
A hole on the wide face of the stretcher is the assembly point of the top and bottom vertical leg sections. Right beside it, the stretcher is 90-degree twisted, so that the thin shelves would be laid on the narrow (and structural) face of the stretcher, helping it to carry much more weight.
The system can be shipped completely flat-packed and assembled in endless combinations.
